Edit Your Workout Clothes
One small edit that helps remove friction from your workout routine
Today’s Daily Design:
Edit your workout clothes.
Keep only the pieces you actually like wearing.
Donate the rest.
I don’t know about you, but my workout clothes have gotten a little out of control and are in need of a major edit. Half the clothes in there I don’t even wear anymore. And I’m tired of opening my drawer and feeling uninspired by the overwhelm and mess.
So today, let’s edit and organize our workout clothes together. When I edited my pajama drawer last week, it only took me 10 minutes. This won’t take long either, and you’ll feel so good after. I’ll be sharing my before and after in my Instagram Stories, so follow along there if you’d like to see the process.
Having only workout clothes I love, nicely organized, helps remove friction to showing up for my workouts. When your drawer is filled with pieces you actually reach for, getting dressed feels easier and more motivating. I’ve linked some of my favorite workout pieces if you’re looking to refresh a few things for the new year.
3 Things I’m Loving
Wardrobe
437 is my new favorite workout brand. I love their v-waist leggings with this bra. The leggings are very flattering.
Home
I just picked up this woven basket (in size large) for our home gym. It’s such a versatile piece and would also be perfect for storing blankets in a living room. I can’t believe the quality for only $60.
Beauty
I recently bought this primer from One/Size and wow! It gives my skin a dewy glow and helps my makeup stay on all day long.
Thought of the Day
Make it easier to show up, and you’re far more likely to do it.
Here’s to fewer, but better pieces and to setting ourselves up in ways that support the habits we’re trying to build.
Come back tomorrow for more Daily Design.
